Clifton Hill

Our clients have purchased a piece of land on Clifton Hill and are building a stylish yet humble new home for resale; however their family of 4 will reside here in the interim. The build platform available on the site could be utilised and having a Northern outlook, thus allowing the utilisation of natural attributes and the best views. The new home will be designed to accommodate the family with the idea of resale in mind. A total of 3 bedrooms is required with an office / 4th bedroom — open plan living, dining, and kitchen. Kitchen to be a part of the main entertaining space and have a link to the view (not tucked away). A walk-in pantry accompanies the kitchen: one main bathroom and an ensuite to the master bedroom.

A connection between the living and outside ground levels are to be explored. Materiality considered: Metal tray, corrugated or board and batten. Understated and unassuming from the exterior with the wow factor internally. Natural light is essential, Skylights to play a crucial role. The design will appeal to a broad market.
